Cushioning (cushion):

Cushioned running shoes

, mainly suitable for normal feet, no excessive inner/outer splayed feet, no serious wobbles, the soles of the feet are on the ground before running, and there is no need to emphasize the support of the arch and the heel. Corrective function for beginners with smaller body size.

Relevant cushioning technologies include: Asics’ GEL cushioning gel and IGS shock-absorbing system, New Balance’s ABZORB shock-absorbing material, Saucony’s PowerGrid cushioning midsole, Mizuno’s INFINITY Wave full Palm shock absorption structure.

stability system (stability

strong>):

stable running shoes, mainly suitable for a certain arch support and heel correction, with a slight inner/outer splay foot, rear sole Landing, frequent running requires support and protection of the feet, and the weight of running shoes is slightly heavier. Most of the running shoes on the market belong to the two categories of cushion and stability, and the performance difference between the two is small.

Relevant stabilization technologies include: Asics’ Dynamic DuoMax guidance system, New Balance’s Stabilicore support technology, and Saucony’s Sauc-Fit stabilization system.

Control System (motion control):

It is mainly suitable for severe splayed feet phenomenon, who have been injured with splayed feet, poor ankle strength, overweight, running with the soles of the feet on the ground, and need more support and gait correction to prevent injuries. Compared with the previous two types of running shoes, the control series running shoes are heavier and have stronger protection and cushioning performance.

Relevant control technologies include: Asics’ HeelClutchingSystem heel stabilization system, New Balance’s Stabilicore support technology + Tbeam midsole stabilization plate.

How to extend the life of running shoes

1. Do not wear running shoes for other sports, such as basketball and football. Different road surfaces have a huge difference in the wear and tear of running shoes. Running on the road is far more expensive than running on the forest trail. When conditions permit, try to run on professional tracks such as plastics.

2. Try not to run on rainy, snowy and sunny asphalt roads. A pair of running shoes should be ‘rested’ after wearing it for two days. Wearing the same pair of shoes for a long time will accelerate the aging and degumming of the shoes. Proper ‘rest’ can restore the shoes to a good state and keep them dry, which is also conducive to relieving foot odor.

3. Put on/take off shoes in a gentle way. When we are in a hurry, we often shove our feet directly into the shoes, which will cause irreversible deformation to the upper part over time.

4. Running shoes will be tighter after cleaning and exposure, so do not wash shoes too frequently. After dirt or colored marks appear on the surface of running shoes, apply an appropriate amount of water or detergent to the old toothbrush or soft brush, brush gently, and then rinse with clean water. Note that it is not recommended to lay wet shoes flat when air-drying, but to put the toe down and the sole towards the wall, and dry it in a ventilated place at room temperature to prevent water from soaking into the midsole foam material.
