In order to achieve the purpose of cooling, chillers are used in many occasions, which is an ideal model with better cooling effect. However, there is a common problem found in use, that is, the chiller is easy to run out of oil, which makes the separation of refrigeration oil and refrigerant incomplete. In addition to affecting the cooling effect, it may also cause the unit to fail to start normally. Is there any way to solve this phenomenon?
Once the chiller runs out of oil, the refrigeration oil in the oil separator will be gone, so where does this oil go? It may enter the evaporator through the expansion valve, or it may enter the condenser with the exhaust gas. No matter what kind of phenomenon, it is unfavorable for the operation of the chiller.
The main reason for this phenomenon is that the temperature of the chilled water in the unit is low, and the temperature of the exhaust gas is also low. Once the root cause of the problem has been found, it is much easier to solve it. The first is to reduce the compressor load of the chiller and increase the condensing pressure; the second is to reduce the low pressure alarm value and low pressure shutdown value of the unit to the allowable range to ensure that the equipment can maintain a stable operating state.
