Working principle of volumetric heat exchanger:

In a volumetric heat exchanger, the tank is filled with water, cold water enters from the bottom of the heat exchanger, and hot water flows out from the top of the tank. In the process of water flow, a local stagnation area (cold water area) will be formed, the heat exchange is insufficient, and the water temperature rises slowly, especially in the horizontal volumetric heat exchanger.

Characteristics of volumetric heat exchanger:

1 . The temperature drop of the heat medium in the volumetric heat exchanger is large. During steam-water heat exchange, the outlet temperature of condensed water is about 50°C, and steam traps should be installed up and down the return pipe, which is convenient for use and maintenance. The high temperature hot water of ~150℃ can be lowered to 70~75℃ after heat exchange.
