First, the principle of stainless steel self-priming pump
For ordinary centrifugal pumps, if the suction liquid level is below the impeller, it should be pre-filled with water when starting, which is very inconvenient. In order to store water in the pump, a bottom valve needs to be installed at the inlet of the suction pipe. When the pump is working, the bottom valve causes a large hydraulic loss. The so-called self-priming pump means that it does not need to be irrigated before starting (the first start after installation still needs to be irrigated). After a short period of operation, the pump itself can suck up the water and put it into normal work. Self-priming pumps are divided into the following categories according to the principle of action: 1. Gas-liquid mixing type (including internal mixing and external mixing); 2. Water ring wheel type; 3. Jet type (including liquid jet and gas jet). The working process of the gas-liquid mixed self-priming pump: due to the special structure of the self-priming pump body, after the pump stops, there is a certain amount of water in the pump body. After the pump starts again, due to the rotation of the impeller, the air and water in the suction pipeline It is fully mixed and discharged to the gas-water separation chamber. The gas in the upper part of the gas-water separation chamber overflows, and the water in the lower part returns to the impeller to be re-mixed with the remaining air in the suction pipe until all the gas in the pump and the suction pipe is discharged. Suction and pump normally. The water ring wheel type self-priming pump is a combination of the water ring wheel and the water pump impeller in a casing, and the gas is discharged by the water ring wheel to realize self-priming. When the pump works normally, the channel of the water ring wheel and the water pump impeller can be cut off through the valve, and the liquid in the water ring wheel can be discharged. The jet self-priming pump is composed of a centrifugal pump and a jet pump (or ejector). It relies on the ejection device to create a vacuum at the nozzle to achieve suction.
Second, the use of stainless steel self-priming pump
1. Suitable for urban environmental protection, construction, fire protection, chemical industry, pharmaceuticals, dyes, printing and dyeing, brewing, electricity, electroplating, papermaking, industrial and mining Flushing, equipment cooling, etc.
2. Install the rocker-type spray head, and after the water is flushed into the air, it can be scattered into fine raindrops for spraying. It is a good equipment for farms, nurseries, orchards and tea gardens.
3. It is suitable for clean water, sea water, chemical medium liquid with acidity and alkalinity, and slurry with general paste. (The viscosity of the medium is less than or equal to 100 centipoise, and the solid content can reach less than 30%)
4. It can be used with any type and specification of filter press to send the slurry to the pressure filter. The most ideal matching pump for filter press.
3. Trouble and maintenance of stainless steel self-priming pump
Motor part of stainless steel self-priming pump
1. There is no response after turning on the power. Most are caused by the short circuit of the power plug, the power lead and the motor winding.
2. Difficult to start or unable to start, accompanied by a “humming” sound. During maintenance, you can use a small bamboo piece to quickly turn the fan blade according to the running direction. If the motor runs quickly, it means that the starting capacitor or the starting winding is damaged, and the capacitor of the same capacity should be replaced or the starting winding should be repaired; if the motor is stuck, it is mostly the motor and the pump head. mechanical failure, such as bearing damage, impeller stuck, etc.
3. The motor can run, but the speed is slow, and the casing is overheated and has a burning smell. Most of them are caused by the short circuit of the motor winding. The motor should be disassembled and repaired by welding, jumper, isolation, rewinding and other measures depending on the damage.
4. Large noise and vibration during operation. In most cases, the bearing is damaged or the bearing and the casing are not properly matched. The motor needs to be disassembled for inspection. If the bearing is damaged, it should be replaced. The worn parts of the motor shaft are treated with chisel, and if the wear is serious, the method of surfacing and then turning is used to repair.
Stainless steel self-priming pump head part
1. The motor runs normally but the water output is small or not at all. In this case, you should first check the seal of the water pump. When checking, you should first unplug the power plug, block the suction port with your hands, fill the water pump with water, hold the outlet with your mouth and blow hard, and observe whether the pump head leaks or leaks. This is where the seal is damaged. The common fault parts are the suction pad, the outlet pad, and the impeller cover pad, which should be replaced during maintenance. If there is no phenomenon of full water, it is mostly the impeller damage, the water barrier between the suction chamber and the water outlet chamber is corroded, the water barrier of the pump head is flat, the gap between the impeller and the pump casing is increased, etc., the impeller and the pump casing should be replaced. . When replacing the impeller, care should be taken to completely remove the remaining copper blades in the pump to avoid damaging the new impeller again.
2. The chassis is electrified. Most of the damage is caused by water seal damage. Water penetrates into the motor through the motor shaft to deteriorate the insulation performance of the motor. It can be repaired by replacing the water seal and drying the motor. It should be noted that because the pump is in contact with water for a long time and works in the open air, it is very easy to get wet and cause the deterioration of the insulation performance. In order to ensure personal safety, the electric stainless steel self-priming pump should be reliably grounded.
