Step 4: Replace the ink cartridges

Please replace the defective ink cartridge with a new compatible HP ink cartridge.

Open the cartridge access door. The carriage will move to the center of the all-in-one.

Wait for the carriage to come to a complete stop, press down on the cartridge to release it, and then pull out of the slot.

If you remove the black or photo ink cartridge, the all-in-one will print slower and print out in different colors.
