Pulleys mostly use V-belts. The specifications of the national pulleys are divided into models A, B, C, D, E, O, and others, determined by the dimensions of the back width and height of the pulley.
Different types of pulleys (A, B, C, D, E, O) have varying back widths, heights, tops, and grooves. The specifications are as follows:
- A-type pulleys: Width: 12.5mm, Height: 9mm, Top width: 13mm, Thickness: 8mm.
- B-type pulleys: Width: 16.5mm, Height: 11mm, Top width: 17mm, Thickness: 10.5mm.
- C-type pulleys: Width: 22mm, Height: 14mm, Top width: 22mm, Thickness: 13.5mm.
- D-type pulleys: Width: 21.5mm, Height: 19mm, Top width: 21.5mm, Thickness: 19mm.
- E-type pulleys: Width: 38mm, Height: 25.5mm, Top width: 38mm, Thickness: 25.5mm.
- O-type pulleys: Width: 10mm, Height: 6mm.
Pulleys also come in different models, including ordinary, ordinary reinforced, narrow V-belt, and strong narrow V-belt:
- Ordinary type: A, B, C, D, E, O, 3V, 5V, 8V.
- Ordinary reinforced type: AX, CX, DX, EX, 3VX, 5VX, 8VX.
- Narrow V-belt: SPZ, SPA, SPB, SPC.
- Strong narrow V-belt: XPA, XPB, XPC.
Second: Pulley Model Sizes
The groove angle of the pulley varies between 32 degrees, 34 degrees, 36 degrees, and 38 degrees, depending on the belt choice, wheel geometry, and base diameter. Recommended pulley groove angles for different types of pulleys and diameter ranges are as follows:
O-type pulleys: 34 degrees for diameters between 50mm to 71mm, 36 degrees for diameters > 71mm to 90mm, and 38 degrees for diameters > 90mm.
A-type pulleys: 34 degrees for diameters between 71mm to 100mm, 36 degrees for diameters > 100mm to 125mm, and 38 degrees for diameters > 125mm.
B-type pulleys: 34 degrees for diameters between 125mm to 160mm, 36 degrees for diameters > 160mm to 200mm, and 38 degrees for diameters > 200mm.
C-type pulleys: 34 degrees for diameters between 200mm to 250mm, 36 degrees for diameters > 250mm to 315mm, and 38 degrees for diameters > 315mm to 450mm, and 36 degrees for diameters > 450mm, and 38 degrees for diameters > 450mm.
E-type pulleys: 36 degrees for diameters between 500mm to 630mm, and 38 degrees for diameters > 630mm.
