How to scan the MFP
1. First, install the scanning driver and scanning software of the laser black and white MFP in the computer using the software CD that comes with the machine.
2. After the installation procedure is completed, place the single-page document face down on the document glass, or load the document face up into the document feeder.
3. Open the [Easy Document Creator] software and click [Quick Scan].
Note:
If [Quick Scan] is grayed out and cannot be selected, please click [Search], then Select [Start Search], select your printer in the search results, and then press [OK]. If it is a new version of EDC software, you need to click the three-dot icon, then click the name of the printer you are using, and then select [OK].
4. The machine starts to scan the file automatically. After scanning, select [Save to Location], and then click [Save].
Tips:
1. If the scan icon cannot be found after installation, please confirm whether to install the scan software. Try it, or you can search for the software through the computer [Start]-[All Programs]-[Samsung Printers]-[Easy Document Creator].
2. If a message is displayed when using the panel to scan, please check the port connection or select to enable scanning from the device panel. One of the software installed in the program is [Samsung Easy Printer Manager], open this software, switch to [Advanced Mode], and then select [Scan to PC] settings.
If you cannot scan after the above operation, it is recommended that you re-plug and unplug the USB data. If it still does not work, try another computer.
