  1. Data Cable Projection

The simplest method is wired screencasting. Connect your mobile phone to the projector using a USB data cable. Plug one end into your phone and the other into the projector’s USB port. This plug-and-play setup will give you a movie-theater-like experience in minutes.

  2. MHL Cable Projection

If your smartphone supports MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) connection, you can use an MHL cable. Connect one end of the cable to your phone and the other end to the HDMI port of the projector. Then, set the projector’s input source to HDMI. This will allow you to display your phone’s screen on the projector.

  3. Wireless Projection

For wireless projection, your projector must have WiFi capability. Note that this method will not work if your projector only supports wired connections. Follow these steps for different devices:

    • iPhone: First, connect the projector to a power source and ensure it is on the projection screen’s boot interface. On your iPhone, swipe down to access the Control Center, tap “Screen Mirroring,” and select the projector’s WiFi name.
    • Android Phone: Use the Miracast function for wireless projection. Swipe down to access the quick settings menu, tap “Wireless Display,” and connect to the projector’s WiFi name.

(Note: Different Android phones may have different names for the wireless screencasting function, such as Multi-Screen Interaction, Wireless Display, Smart View, etc.)

  4. Google Home Projection

Some projectors support applications like Google Home. To use this feature, download the Google Home app, open it, and select the option to mirror your device’s content. Make sure you are connected to the same network as your projector.

  5. Software Projection

Many projectors support software-based projection. For example, with LeBao projectors, open the projector’s software and then open the corresponding app on your mobile phone. Select the screen projection option to mirror your phone’s screen. For iOS devices, simply select the screen projection option on the projector and enable AirPlay Mirroring on your iPhone.

  6. Bluetooth Screen Projection

Bluetooth screen projection is less common and requires additional equipment. Prepare an HDMI adapter, a standard HDMI cable, and your phone’s original charger. Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the projector and the other end to the adapter. Then, connect the adapter to your phone and charger. Switch the projector to HDMI mode, and your phone’s screen will be displayed synchronously.
