First aid in the case of electric shock, drowning, strangulation, poisoning, etc. when the patient has stopped breathing but the heart is still beating, or the heart has just stopped.
When performing worker breathing, place the patient in a warm and well-ventilated place, undress, remove phlegm, mud and blood from the mouth, and remove dentures if there are any.
1. Supine artificial respiration method: the patient lies on his back, the rescuer faces the patient, the legs are separated, cross the patient’s thighs, kneel on the ground, the arms are straight, the palms are placed under the patient’s rib cage, the thumbs are inward, With the other four fingers facing outward, the rescuer’s own body weight is used to push the patient’s chest down and forward for 2 to 3 seconds to shrink the thorax and expel the air in the lungs; then the rescuer straightens the upper body and loosens the hands, allowing the patient’s chest to move on its own. Expand and breathe air. Such repeated implementation, 15 times per minute is appropriate.
2. Prone artificial respiration method: The patient is prone, and the head is tilted to one side. The rescuer kneels on the ground and faces the back of the patient. The techniques, movements, and times are basically the same as those of the supine worker breathing. When performing worker breathing, do not use too much force to cause rib fractures. At the same time as artificial respiration, you should contact the hospital and request to come to deal with it.
