Are vacuum mugs really vacuum insulated?
Many people only look at the appearance when choosing a thermos cup, and don’t know how to judge the insulation performance of a thermos cup.
In fact, in the whole thermos cup industry, thermos cups are just a general term, and thermos cups are divided into ordinary thermos cups and vacuum thermos cups. Of course, if you want to have good thermal insulation performance, you must buy vacuum thermos cups. Generally, the heat preservation time of vacuum thermos can be as long as 8 hours or more, and even some vacuum thermos can be as long as 24 hours.
So how can you tell if it’s a vacuum mug or an ordinary mug? It’s actually very simple, just a simple test.
Pour the less boiled water into the thermos cup, then close the lid. After about two or three minutes, touch the middle part of the thermos cup and the following parts with your hands to see if it is warm. If the outside of the thermos feels hot again, then this is an ordinary thermos. Because the vacuum thermos can isolate all heat transfer, if it is a vacuum thermos, there will be no temperature on the back.
