The chiller can achieve the purpose of refrigeration, mainly relying on the role of the refrigerant in the equipment. Since the chiller will encounter various emergencies during the operation, in order to prevent the refrigerant from leaking at this time, some measures must be taken. Such a measure could be to pump the refrigerant into the high pressure side and seal it all up in the accumulator or condenser. How exactly is it achieved?
First of all, the main outlet valve of the chiller should be turned off, and then the set temperature of the indoor thermostat should be lowered and the solenoid valve should be opened at the same time, and the evacuation work can be started. To avoid errors, be sure to turn on the fan at the evaporator coil throughout the operation.
If the low-pressure controller is cut off when the suction pressure of the chiller system does not meet the standard, it will cause the compressor to stop and the lubricating oil will dissolve in the crankcase. Therefore, it is necessary to repeat the evacuation work several times to ensure that all the refrigerant existing in each part of the chiller is pumped back to the high-pressure side.
