How to Inflate and Deflate a Swimming Ring Quickly

Inflating a swimming ring is quick, but deflating it can be slow due to the design, similar to ordinary tires. To speed up deflation, adjust the size of the air vent. Increasing the size of the exhaust hole will allow air to escape more rapidly.

Inflation Process:

  1. Preparation: Wipe the inflatable opening of the ring to prevent debris from blocking it. Gently pull or push the inflatable valve to make it protrude on the ring’s surface and remove the plug.
  2. Inflation: Insert a straw vertically into the valve. Push the straw slightly to open the inner wall of the valve, or insert the straw directly into the inner chamber of the swimming ring. Blow into the straw to inflate the ring. Children can easily inflate the swimming ring this way. After inflating, pinch the part where the straw connects to the valve with your hand, remove the straw from your mouth, and quickly cover the soft stopper of the swimming ring to prevent air leakage.

Deflation Process:

To deflate the swimming ring faster, press inward from the air hole using a clip, toothpick, or another small object.

Better Storage Tips:

  1. Cleaning and Drying: Wash and dry the swimming ring to prevent material fading. Deflate the swimming ring, insert a small stick into the air inlet, and roll it up (do not fold it) into a round shape, like a Swiss roll cake.
  2. Storage: Consider using a small storage box to prevent damage from pets or mice. Store the swimming ring away from sunlight, oil, acids, and hydrocarbons, which can corrode it. Keep it in a cool, dry, and dark room to prevent moisture accumulation, which could lead to internal damage due to pressure changes.
