How to remove Epson ink cartridges
Step 1: Open the Epson printer cover and press the ink button. The printhead moves to the ink cartridge check position and the power light starts blinking. Flags indicate that the ink cartridges are at the end of their life or are low on ink.
Step 2: Press the ink button again. If more than one ink cartridge has reached the end of life or is low on ink, the printhead moves to the mark. This occurs every time the ink button is pressed until all of the end-of-life or low ink cartridges are displayed. Once all expired or low ink cartridges are displayed, the printhead moves to the ink cartridge replacement position when the ink button is pressed.
Step 3: Open the ink cartridge compartment cover of the printer, and take out the ink cartridges that have reached the end of their service life.
Step 4: Take the new ink cartridge out of the package and remove the yellow tape on the bottom of the ink cartridge.
Note: Be careful not to touch the ink cartridge chip, and do not remove the transparent seal on the print head and the label on the side of the ink cartridge.
Step 5: Install new ink cartridges. After all ink cartridges are installed, cover the top of the machine.
Step 6: Press the ink button. The printer moves the printhead and begins to charge the ink delivery system. It takes about two minutes to complete this process. When the ink charging process is complete, the print head returns to its original position. The power indicator stops flashing and stays on, and the ink indicator is off, and the test can be printed.
Note: If the ink light is still on after replacing the ink cartridge, it means that the ink cartridge is not recognized. Please make sure to use genuine Epson ink cartridges, and then reinstall the ink cartridge. How to disassemble Epson ink cartridges

3. Press and hold the green button, drag the Epson printer toner box with the right hand, and pull it out together. Basically, the ink cartridge is pulled out together with the box in which the ink cartridge is placed. Pull it out, and this step is successful.
4. The ink cartridge is pulled together with the box containing the ink cartridge, so this step is to separate the two. You only need to gently lift the toner cartridge with your right hand, and hold the side of the box containing the ink cartridge with your left hand. It’s easy to separate.
5. Take out the old ink cartridge and replace it with a new ink cartridge. In the same way, hold the new ink cartridge with your right hand, hold the side of the box containing the ink cartridge with your left hand, and put it in gently to complete. 6. After the new ink cartridge and the box containing the ink cartridge are placed together, press and hold the green button, which is similar to the third step, but put it in, adjust the position after putting it in, and cover the outer cover.
