How to remove the pulsator of a pulsator washing machine

The problem of dismantling the impeller of a pulsator washing machine

When disassembling the pulsator of a washing machine, it is often encountered that the connecting shaft, the clutch, and the impeller are connected. It is difficult to remove the screws of the impeller due to rust. Here are several methods to remove the impeller:

  1. Screw two self-tapping screws with a diameter of 2mm x 3mm into the pulsator symmetrically (do not screw too deep; there should be a hand-grasping position). Grab the screwed-in screw with both hands and shake it up, left and right. Pull up to remove the impeller.

  2. Find two waste bicycle spokes, disassemble one end into a small 90-degree bend, and then insert the dismantled bent section symmetrically into the small hole on the pulsator surface and lift it up to remove the pulsator.

  3. Open the small garden cover in the middle of the washing machine impeller, open the small screw inside, hold the impeller with both hands, slowly shake it left and right, and then pull it upward to remove the impeller.

  4. Use a hairdryer to blow heat around the screw in the middle of the impeller of the washing machine so that the impeller can be separated from the metal shaft, making it easier to remove the impeller.

  5. Prepare two iron wires and make inward hooks at both ends that are longer than the two parallel holes in the pulsator by more than 5 cm. Screw in the inner hexagon, use the two claws to pull the code center against the inner hexagon, hang the wire with the two claws, and twist the zipper screw clockwise. Basically, all can come out.
