How to see the blood oxygen detector how to use the blood oxygen detector

What is a oximeter

A oximeter is a device that monitors blood oxygen saturation. It refers to the degree to which hemoglobin binds to oxygen at a certain partial pressure of oxygen, that is, the percentage of oxygen content and oxygen capacity. Arterial oxygen saturation is usually used.

How does the oximeter look like

The main signs on the oximeter are pulse rate, blood oxygen saturation, There is also the perfusion index. The first thing to look at is the pulse rate, which is the number of beats per minute. Normally the pulse and heartbeat are the same. In fact, it also depends on the blood oxygen saturation. Generally, the blood oxygen saturation of a normal person is 98%, and the venous blood is generally 75%. If the blood oxygen saturation is below 94%, then it is the performance of insufficient oxygen supply.

How to use the oximeter

1. When using the finger oximeter for the first time, press the Reset button first, and the LCD screen will display the standby state .

2. Then press to open the clip. Insert the middle finger of the left or right hand into the working compartment, and then you can see the infrared light in the working compartment. It should be noted that the fingers should not be crooked, the hands should not be wet, and there should be no foreign objects on the surface of the nails.
