What is a goal kick
Goal kick is a method of restarting the game in football. A goal kick shall be kicked directly into the pitch by the defending player in the goal area. Goal kicks are usually taken by the goalkeeper.
A goal kick can be scored directly into the opponent’s goal; after a goal kick is thrown, the football directly enters the own goal without leaving the penalty area and should be re-kicked. If the bottom line is out: 1 ball is not kicked forward, a heavy kick shall be awarded. 2 The ball is kicked forward and then the baseline is out, and the opponent’s corner kick is awarded. The ball does not leave the penalty area and touches any player and shall be re-kicked.
For anything else that violates this rule: re-kick.
Goal Is the ball offside?
Offside is the position of the offensive player relative to the position of the last defensive player and the football position at the time.
The goalkeeper serves only to indicate that the football is at the back of the ball. If an offensive player is in an offside position and tries to catch the ball, it is offside.
Holding the opponent’s ball with one hand is offside when kicking wide because it’s not a goal kick, it’s just a pass, and the goal kick is not offside after going out of bounds This is true Goal kicks are not considered offside, as Neuer once assisted his teammates in the World Cup.
