Let’s take a look at the installation specifications of lighting lamps.

Lamp installation method

Ceiling type

The illuminator is attached to the ceiling, which is suitable for buildings with a bright ceiling and a low room. This installation method often has a brighter ceiling, but it is easy to generate glare, and the utilization rate of light flux is not high.

Embedded

Most or all of the luminaire is embedded in the ceiling, leaving only the light-emitting surface exposed. Suitable for low rooms. Generally speaking, the ceiling is dark and the lighting efficiency is not high. If the ceiling reflection is relatively high, the lighting effect can be improved.

Pendant

The luminaire is suspended from the ceiling. According to the different hanging materials, it can be divided into line hanging type, chain hanging type and pipe hanging type. This luminaire is close to the work surface and is often used for general lighting in buildings.

Wall

The illuminator snaps to the wall. The wall lamp cannot be used as the main illuminator for general lighting, but can only be used as auxiliary lighting, which is full of decorative effects. Due to the low installation height, it is easy to become a glare source, so a low-power light source is mostly used.

branch-shaped combination type

The illuminator is composed of multiple branch-shaped lamps to form a certain pattern, commonly known as lantern. Generally hanging or ceiling type, mainly decorative lighting. Large lanterns are often used in large building halls, and small lanterns can also be used in hotels, conference halls, etc.

In-Wall Type

Most or all of the luminaire is embedded in the wall or floor, and only a small light-emitting surface is exposed. This kind of luminaire is often used as a floor lamp, used as a night lamp indoors, or as a late-night lighting lamp for corridors and stairs, so as to avoid affecting the rest of others at night.

Desktop

Mainly used for local lighting, such as placed on desks, workbenches, etc.

courtyard style

Mainly used in parks, hotel gardens and other places, combined with garden architecture, it has artistic effect no matter it is day or night.

Vertical

Standing lamps, also known as floor lamps, are often used for local lighting and are placed near sofas and coffee tables.

Road, square type

Mainly used for square and road lighting.

Lamp installation specification Lamp inspection

According to the installation site of the lamp market, check whether the lamp meets the requirements; install accessories according to the packing list; pay attention to check whether the relevant documents and technology of the manufacturer are complete; check whether the appearance of the lamp is normal, whether there is any Scratch, deformation, metal peeling, corrosion and other phenomena.

Assembling the light

Follow the installation instructions to connect the components together. The length of the wires in the light should be appropriate. The multi-strand flexible wires should be tinned. Pay attention to the uniform wiring color to facilitate the distinction between the live wire and the neutral wire. Straighten out the wiring inside the light.

Lamp installation

Ordinary lamp head installation: leave the power cord to a sufficient length for maintenance, then cut off the remainder and strip off the wire head, and install the lamp holder on the junction box with the connecting screw. Drop-type lamp head installation: leave the power cord to a sufficient length for maintenance, cut off the remaining wires and strip off the wire ends, pass the wires through the base of the lamp head, and fix the base on the junction box with connecting screws.

Power-on test run
