The red value displayed on the panel is the measured value of the machine’s print head, and the lower part is the set value. Use the “” symbol to set, generally set to 15 to 20.
3. The printing process of the banner machine does not save ribbon

4. The banner machine prints garbled characters and typos.

7. Adjust the height of the print head
There is a No. 6 socket head cap screw on each side of the print head, loosen it and adjust the print head to the proper position. Height (the height that is convenient for cotton balls to be cleaned), just tighten the bolts.
8. The printing banner is not centered
After the ribbon and cloth are centered and installed, arrange the text on the Wentai layout and move it down about 60MM (that is, adjust the Y=-60 or so).

2. Operation precautions
①Do not plug or unplug the data cable at any time when it is turned on.

③Use 95% alcohol to clean the print head and use it after drying.
④When using, pay attention to observe whether the water pipe connected to the print head of the machine leaks, and whether there are sundries entering the print head and the rubber roller part.
⑤The machine needs to be shut down for 10-30 minutes if the continuous working time exceeds two hours.
⑥Keep the machine work surface hygienic.
⑦The computer cannot be connected to the Internet, and must be disinfected before inserting the U disk.
⑧ Wipe the lubricating oil regularly.
3. Ribbon-related faults
1. If the ribbon printing has a large area of straight strip residues, at the same time as the printing progresses , the corresponding strip becomes wider, and the printed ribbon appears wrinkled.
Reasons and solutions: Since the print head of the banner printer uses water cooling to dissipate heat, as the weather gets hotter, the water temperature in the circulating water tank exceeds 25°C, causing the print head to dissipate heat. If it is not in time, the print head is partially overheated, so the color on the ribbon sticks to the cloth and then sticks back to the backing film (sometimes it also appears that the color of the ribbon penetrates to the back of the cloth). At this time, ice cubes or ice water can be added to the water tank to keep the actual temperature of the print head (that is, the temperature displayed in red) at 20-25°C.
2. When there is not much ribbon left, the ribbon will break frequently and the coloring will not be uniform.
Reason: Since the ribbon unwinding adopts constant torque unwinding (that is, the ribbon rod is tightened in the reverse direction, and it is all driven by the front ribbon rod to drive the ribbon to rotate forward. mode), when the ribbon roll is reduced, it will cause the ribbon resistance to increase, causing the ribbon to stay too long during the printing process, and the print head will overheat locally, resulting in uneven coloring.
Solution: When the resistance of the ribbon exceeds the critical point of the bearing capacity of the ribbon itself, frequent breaks will occur. When the ribbon roll is relatively small, the ribbon loading rod can be manually moved to the ribbon. Rotate in the forward direction to reduce the resistance of the ribbon (note that the force should be moderate when rotating, it is necessary to reduce the resistance of the ribbon and ensure the tightness of the ribbon. If the tightness of the ribbon cannot be guaranteed, the ribbon will be wrinkled. ).
Fourth, no output and no printing
Generally, it is caused by the following 8 reasons.
1. Check whether the computer displays the cause of “timeout”:
(1) The EPP port setting is incorrect;
(2) The print head cable plug Reverse or wrong position;
(3) The computer motherboard is incompatible;
(4) The 5v power supply is abnormal.
2. Check whether the computer shows the reason for the pause:
(1) The pause switch is turned on;
(2) The pause switch is damaged;
(3) The wiring of the pause switch is short-circuited;
(4) The jumper cap of the main board of the machine is not inserted or inserted incorrectly;
(5) The main board of the machine is broken.
3. Check whether the 24v, 5v power supply is normal or not. Reasons:
(1) The ground wire is not installed as required or the ground wire does not work and it is easy to damage the switching power supply;
(2) The fixing screw of the power supply touches a metal object;
(3) The machine circuit is short-circuited.
4. The reason why the computer motherboard port setting should be changed to EPP:

5. Whether the printing line is inserted tightly.
6. The computer is not compatible with the machine.
7. The main board of the machine is damaged.
8. The stepper motor driver is damaged.
V. Can’t print color
1. Reasons caused by adjusting the front and rear positions of the print head: Loosen the fixing screws of the print head to adjust.
2. Replace the 12V and 24V plug wires and check whether the plug wires are loose.
3. Check whether the printing cable is plugged in tightly. The reason is that it is extremely easy to damage the plug if the printing cable is not inserted or inserted backwards, and the output is output without plugging.
4. Reasons for damage to the print head: static electricity, unstable voltage, water on the surface, live plugging and unplugging of data lines and print lines, scratches on hard objects and other abnormal operations can easily damage the print head.
5. Reasons caused by problems with the installation of the printer driver: The driver needs to be installed correctly again.
Six. Ribbon broken
1. The reason is that the indoor temperature is too high, reduce the indoor temperature, it is recommended that customers install air conditioners;
2. Move the brake pads in the opposite direction of the machine operation panel (moving out), the causes are: (1) The brake pads are dead (2) The brake signal line is short-circuited (3) The main board of the machine is broken (4) No. 1 relay The electrical appliances are broken;
3. Clean up the ribbon and sundries on the print head, the cause: if the machine is used for a long time, the ribbon will be left on the print head. If it is not cleaned in time, the machine will be normal. During operation, the remaining ribbon on the print head will stick to the normal ribbon, and the print head is heated, which will easily break the ribbon;
4. Adjustment The position of the print head;
5. Clean the ribbon on the support rod, the cause: if the machine is used for a long time, the ribbon will be left on the support rod. If it is not dealt with in time, when the machine is running normally , the remaining ribbon on the support rod will stick to the normal ribbon. When the print head is heated, it is easy to break the ribbon;
6. Replace the ribbon , the cause: (1) The parameters of various colors and the manufacturer’s ribbon are different, that is, the tension of the ribbon itself is different (2) In order to reduce unnecessary losses for you, please save it in strict accordance with the manufacturer’s requirements;
7. The two ends of the cloth roll are not aligned, the cause: When the cloth is stored, it must be placed flat, and not inclined to be stored. Otherwise, the cloth roll will be deformed or uneven. If the cloth roll is not aligned, it will definitely wrinkle during printing.
Seven, how to store and pay attention to the ribbon
The quality of the ribbon determines the quality of the banner printed by the laser banner machine, in addition to the ribbon itself In addition to the quality, the storage of the ribbon is also very particular. Improper storage will lead to poor printing banner effect.
The storage environment of the ribbon should be kept at: temperature (-5 degrees-40 degrees), relative humidity (20%-80%), and the shelf life is 1 year. Do not expose the ribbon to sunlight or a particularly humid place, otherwise it will affect the quality of printed banners.
