[Shirt Ironing]How to iron a shirt with an electric iron How to iron a shirt perfectly?
Ironing The following points need to be paid attention to before shirting:
1.Before ironing shirts, keep a certain amount of moisture. The amount of shirt moisture retention required depends on the type of shirt being washed and the vacuum or clamping device you choose. If the shirt is a polyester-cotton blend, the moisture should be kept at 50%. If it is 100% cotton, then the moisture retention is less than 50%. Otherwise, it will take a lot of time when ironing with a clip machine.
2. Ironing should be done from top to bottom. Collar: Iron from the outer ends of the sides to the middle; Sleeves: From the bottom of the sleeve to the shoulders; Body: Iron the front first, then the back.
Step 1: Iron the collar first. Flatten the collar with the inside facing out, hold the collar end with one hand, hold the iron in the other hand, and iron out from the bottom of the collar to the top. After it’s done, switch sides and reheat.
Step 2: Work on the shoulders. Put the collar upright first, then flatten the part of the shirt from the shoulders to the back collar shoulder (that is, the horizontal stitching on the back), and press it from the bottom of the collar outwards with an iron. Do not press the iron too hard to facilitate movement.
Step 3: Iron the front. Hot inside and out. On the side with the button hole, first iron the front part from top to bottom, then pick up the iron and iron it again from the sleeve to the button hole direction, and finally turn it over and iron it again. Remember to straighten the clothes with one hand and gently lift the iron with the other to smooth the iron, so as to achieve fast and good results.
Step 4: Avoid the button. The part where the button is nailed has large ups and downs. When ironing, the tail of the iron should be raised, and the tip of the iron should avoid the button and gently slide. After all is completed, go back to the first button and iron it again carefully, which can increase the effect of key modification.
Step 5: The last sleeve. First align the stitches of the sleeves in twos, and then iron the cuffs with the front half of the iron. Since the current position is mostly lined with two layers of cloth, the strength can be slightly increased. Then use the tip of the iron to trim the ruffles on the sleeves, and finish ironing the entire sleeve.
