Sometimes in the entire chiller, the refrigerant will leak, resulting in insufficient refrigerant and insufficient power of the refrigeration system, which means that the chiller cannot cool normally. Another reason is that after the compressor runs for a long time, due to the serious wear and tear of the parts, the sealing between them cannot meet the rated requirements. At this time, the rated power of the compressor will also decrease accordingly, which directly affects the cooling capacity of the unit and thus the cooling coefficient of the refrigerant.
Even if the cooling effect can be guaranteed, how can the energy consumption be minimized under this premise? Is there any way we can learn from it? The temperature difference between the inlet and outlet of the chiller can be controlled between four and five degrees, because at this time the chiller is in a state of efficient operation, but the energy consumption of two points is indeed the smallest.
Secondly, the water pump of the chiller can be adjusted in parallel and variable speed. We adjust the operating power of the water pump by adjusting the speed, but the premise is that the required flow head can be met. In this case, the electric power consumed is the most matched and the most power-saving.
Compared with the chiller, the power saving potential of the air-conditioning system is obviously larger, because the air-conditioning system is designed based on the data at the maximum load. And when we usually use it, most of the time we run in the low-load area, so it may be easier to save power.
