The difference between an air-cooled wine cooler and a direct-cooled wine cooler How a cold-air wine cooler and a refrigerated wine cooler work

The difference between an air-cooled wine cooler and a direct-cooled wine cooler To put it simply:

The direct-cooling wine cooler is similar to the refrigerator you use at home, relying on the copper pipes on the inner wall of the refrigerator for cooling; while the air-cooling wine cooler is similar to the air conditioner in your home, relying on the cold air blown out refrigeration.

Direct cooling wine cooler: Also known as air-conditioning natural convection. The refrigerator room has an evaporator, and the size of the evaporator is reasonably matched according to the size of the room and the temperature requirements. The cooling method is to cool the food by natural convection of cold air.

Air-cooled wine cooler: It is equipped with a finned evaporator and a set of air duct circulation components. The fan motor will circulate the air in the box cooled by the evaporator to achieve the purpose of cooling. Because the cold air is blown in, it will not cause frosting due to the absorption of moisture from the stored food. Therefore, the air-cooled type is also called the frost-free type. In fact, the frost-free type is only that there is no frost on the inner wall surface, and the surface of the evaporator is still frosted, but it does not need manual defrosting but is automatically defrosted.

The principle of air-cooled wine cooler and direct-cooled wine cooler:

(1) Direct-cooled wine cooler.

The low temperature natural convection on the evaporator surface reduces the temperature in the box, but the temperature is not uniform. It is more power-saving, and the effective volume is large under the same volume. The advantages of direct cooling technology are low manufacturing cost and low power consumption. The direct cooling type has low power consumption, low noise and low price; slow speed and poor temperature uniformity.

(2) Air-cooled wine cooler.

The wine cooler with air-cooling technology is clean and refreshing. The humidity of the freezer is low, and the cooling is uniform to achieve the effect of precise temperature control. Its shortcomings are that the air-cooling technology costs more and consumes more electricity; the food is easy to air-dry and dehydrate, and it is suitable for use in humid areas. The power consumption is higher than that of the direct cooling type, and the effective volume is small under the same volume. The air-cooled type has fast freezing speed and good temperature uniformity; but it consumes a lot of electricity, has high noise, and is expensive.
