3. Classification by glue
Water-based coating glue(abbreviation: water glue) : Emulsify acrylic or polyurethane resin with water as solvent through special emulsifying equipment.
Its biggest advantages are: variety, environmental protection, low price, long storage time, and many coatings are made of water-soluble adhesive, such as: general photo paper, PP adhesive, domestic adhesive Color inkjet paper, etc. Water-soluble, with its functionality, environmental protection, low price and long storage time, will be the direction of future coatings. Disadvantages are poor film formation and poor washing fastness.
Oil-based coating adhesive(abbreviation: oil-based adhesive): It uses an oil-based solvent (toluene, DMF, butanone, etc.) Or dissolved in polyurethane.
Its advantages are good film formation, good fastness and long storage time. It is a commonly used coating adhesive at present. The disadvantage is that due to the use of oil-based solvents, there is a lack of environmental protection, especially the increase in oil prices, which leads to the price of oil-based solvents rising. In addition, with the further improvement of environmental protection standards in various countries, the environmental protection requirements for coating adhesives are getting higher and higher. The common ones on the market are: imported oil glue high gloss photo paper, imported oil glue color spray paper, self-adhesive RC waterproof photo paper, self-adhesive PET transparent film and so on.
Hot Melt Pressure Sensitive Adhesive(Hot Melt Adhesive for short): It is mainly composed of synthetic rubber, resin and rubber oil, etc. A self-adhesive product made of cloth on a substrate such as a printing medium, low cost is its biggest advantage, but the defect is that the viscosity is significantly affected by temperature and the storage time is short. But it has strong adhesion; good thermal stability, no impurities, good operability, excellent water resistance, excellent weather resistance; hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive is a plastic adhesive, which can be used in a certain temperature range Its physical state changes with temperature, but its chemical properties remain unchanged. It is non-toxic and tasteless, and is an environmentally friendly chemical product. Commonly used are thin high-gloss self-adhesive photo papers such as trademark labels, self-adhesive color spray paper, and RC self-adhesive waterproof photo paper.
Third, the cleaning method of the adhesive paper attached to the glass
1. First, try water-soluble glue or polymer resin, the former uses water , the latter can be easily wiped off with a cloth after 10 minutes of coating with easily available coal and oil.
2. Scrape with a blade, and then wipe off the residual glue with alcohol, which is easier.
3. Blow with a hair dryer, heat the adhesive tape, and the adhesive will melt slightly, so it is easier to tear.
4. It is better to clean it with glass water.
5. It will be more convenient to apply it with a hot towel for a while and then wipe it.
