The working principle of the filter press backflushing system Why should the filter press install the backflushing system?

1. Why should the filter press install a backflushing system

The full name of the filter press backflushing is generally called “center backflushing”. The function of the filter work is to use compressed air (also water) to blow the unformed sludge in the feed hole into the sludge tank to prevent the mud cake or filter from being polluted when the plate and frame filter press is opened. Plate sealing surface, or a process of filter cloth.

Before the secondary filtration and opening of the filter plate, the sludge remaining in the feed port is blown back to the storage tank through the sludge return pipe with compressed air. The mud return pipe does not pass through the feed pump. There is no additional untreated sludge dripping during the process of opening the filter chamber and the filter plate, which affects the subsequent incineration of the filter plate.

Second, the working principle of the filter press backflushing system

The filter press backflushing system is divided into backflushing with pressure and backflushing without pressure.

Purge with pressure is (only) a way to start the center blowback without unloading all the extrusion pressure after the diaphragm is squeezed. This can ensure that the wet sludge in the feed hole is kept as far as possible without affecting the filter cake and filter cloth, resulting in back blowing.

No pressure backflushing is generally used on non-diaphragm filter presses. When the center is backflushed, the sludge is a process that does not receive external pressure and sticks to the filter cake.
