Vacuum cleaner accessories disassembly method Vacuum cleaner disassembly steps

With the development of the economy, people’s living standards are getting better and better. When people clean their homes, their preferred tool is no longer a broom, but a vacuum cleaner. However, when the vacuum cleaner is used for a long time, the motor of the vacuum cleaner must be maintained and replaced. Before maintenance and replacement, we must face a difficult problem – how to disassemble the vacuum cleaner motor. So let’s take a look at the steps of disassembly and assembly of the vacuum cleaner.

Introduction to the vacuum cleaner

Structure

Power part motor and governor.

Filter system dust bag, front filter, rear filter.

Functional part take-up and pay-off mechanism, dust full indicator, button or slide switch.

Protection measures Dust bag-free protection, high vacuum protection, anti-jamming protection (soft start), overheating protection, anti-static protection.

Hose All suction-type vacuum cleaners are equipped with a hard hose, which is used to connect the soft hose and accessories for cleaning.

The cleaning head of the electric brush inner vacuum cleaner is a special accessory of the hybrid vacuum cleaner.

The round brush head also has a smaller suction nozzle and can be rotated 360°, which is convenient for cleaning furniture, fine mesh fabrics, etc.

The flat suction nozzle, also known as the crevice suction nozzle, is a slender and flat hard suction nozzle; it is especially suitable for cleaning walls, radiant heaters, corners and shallow and narrow places.

The dusting brush is made with long, soft bristles and is ideal for cleaning curtains, walls, and more.

Type

The horizontal vacuum cleaner is larger in size, better in performance, relatively cheap in overall price, and has a large dust holding capacity, suitable for use by the whole family.

The push rod vacuum cleaner is small in size and moderate in power, and is suitable for cleaning frequently but not particularly dirty environments.

Barrel vacuum cleaners have large capacity, high power, strong vacuuming ability, and can be used for both wet and dry use, but they are relatively bulky and not suitable for home use.

The robot vacuum cleaner is small in size, low in noise, large in cleaning area, can work and charge automatically, and is suitable for the ground with less garbage and not difficult to clean.

The hand-held vacuum cleaner is small in size, light in weight, low in price and easy to use, suitable for cleaning cars, keyboard appliances, sofa sheets and clothes.

Mite removal vacuum cleaners are generally only used to remove bacteria, viruses, mites and other allergens.

Dismantling method of vacuum cleaner

Dismantling the fan The fan cover of the general vacuum cleaner is buckled on the bearing cover, so we can use a flat-blade screwdriver to pry the cover off , and then go to the lower fan cover.

Remove the guide wheel, hold the impeller with one hand, and use a wrench to loosen the tightening nut with the other hand. After unscrewing, remove the backing ring, washer, impeller and other parts in turn, and remove the guide wheel.

Remove the brushes and use a soldering iron to solder down the lead connectors of the stator winding coils.

Removing the bearing cup In a typical vacuum cleaner, the bearing cover and the casing are connected by four rivets. When we disassemble, we must prepare for assembly, which is to ensure that the stator and armature are concentric. Generally, we need to make a small eye near the original rivet to make a mark.

In the process of pulling out the bearing cover, it is necessary to protect the casing to prevent damage to the casing and affect subsequent assembly.

The step of pulling out the armature is generally based on the wear of the front and rear rolling bearings on the armature shaft to decide whether to disassemble it. That is, if the wear is not serious, it is not necessary to remove it; if the wear is serious, it should be disassembled with special tools.

Vacuum cleaner assembly method

Put the back of the case on a wooden board, put the armature Gently put it into the housing, and press the rear ball bearing firmly into the rear bearing chamber.

Cover the bearing cup so that the front bearing seat on the bearing cup rests on the ball bearing.

Turn the bearing cover to align the 4 holes on the bearing cover with the corresponding 4 holes on the casing.

For easy maintenance, the bearing cover and the casing can be fastened with 4 pairs of screws and nuts. The screw should be inserted from the bearing cover, the nut should be tightened on the casing side, so as not to hinder the placement of the guide wheel, and a flat washer and a spring washer should be inserted to prevent loosening.

In the process of installing screws and nuts, pay attention to the uniformity of the gap between the armature and the stator, and rotate the bearing freely. The armature position can be adjusted by tapping the bearing cap.

Tighten the screws after the armature position is adjusted. If it is still riveted with rivets, it should be temporarily tightened with screws and nuts, and then riveted with rivets after the trial operation is normal. When riveting, remove a screw and rivet a rivet to ensure the armature and stator mutual location.

Install the two brushes, and weld the four lead wires of the two coils of the stator winding to the corresponding four winding lugs. Use the multimeter r×1 gear to measure the resistance between the two power line soldering pieces (the series resistance of the stator winding and the armature winding).

After the motor is assembled and preliminarily tested, fix the motor on the workbench or vise with clips, and use 110v power supply for no-load test run. If there is a “humming” sound after the power is turned on, but it cannot be started, it may be that the stator winding has a coil in the wrong direction.

After the no-load trial operation, the fan can be installed and the 220v power supply can be used for full-load trial operation. In the process of full load test run, pay attention to observe the situation of electric spark.

After the test run is normal, you can put the motor and fan back into the vacuum cleaner for use.

Cleaning and maintenance of vacuum cleaners

Cleaning methods

Appearance cleanliness

In fact, it is relatively easy to clean the appearance. Generally, it only needs to be wiped with a soft cloth dipped in soapy water, but it must not be cleaned with organic solvents, so as to avoid the appearance of plastic cracking, fading or paint falling off. Of course, it cannot be used. Clean hard objects such as steel balls to avoid damage to the body.

Filter cleaning

For the filter that uses filter paper as the filter medium, use a soft brush to remove the dust on the filter paper. The paper is damaged; for the filter that uses flannel as the filter medium, it should be washed with cold water and then dried. Never use hot water to wash the bubble, and do not dry it, otherwise the pores will be blocked and the suction power during vacuuming will be affected.

Odor Removal

The most annoying thing when using a vacuum cleaner is the hot, hot odor coming out of the exhaust. Before using the vacuum cleaner, you can use cotton dipped in lemon juice and put it in the dirt tube of the vacuum cleaner, so that when you go to use this “added” vacuum cleaner to vacuum, not only there is no peculiar smell in the room, but it will also float. Light scent of lemon.

Dust bag cleaning

Remove dust and debris from the dust bag, wash it with detergent, then rinse with water and dry. If you put it inside the vacuum cleaner without drying, when the vacuum cleaner vacuums again, the dust bag will be extremely dirty. For the part of the vacuum cleaner attached to the ground, in addition to brushing with a brush, you can also use toothpicks or bamboo sticks to take out the entangled garbage. Because of the strong adhesion, silk threads and hairs can only be removed by hand.

Maintenance method

①Before using the vacuum cleaner, observe whether the dust bag of the vacuum cleaner is damaged. If it is damaged, stop using it immediately. Check to see if the dust bag has been cleaned.

②Check whether the switches, wires, plugs, etc. of the vacuum cleaner are in good condition, and ensure that there are no problems with the above before continuing to use the vacuum cleaner.

③ Regularly check whether the internal parts are rusted and fastened.

④ Regularly clean the vacuum cleaner to ensure that the vacuum cleaner is kept clean for a long time and does not accumulate dust in the vacuum cleaner; if you use the vacuum cleaner frequently, you only need to perform a careful cleaning of the vacuum cleaner after each use.

Vacuum Cleaner Repair Methods

Motor Does Not Turn

Cause Circuit Open; Contact defective or the motor itself is damaged.

Treatment Pay attention to whether the contact of the reel is good or broken; replace the fuse; check for circuit problems.

Small suction

Reasons: The vacuum duct is not smooth; the air duct leaks; the motor speed is the reason.

Dispose of the foreign objects in the air duct of the vacuum cleaner; repair or install the dust filter cover, or connect the suction nozzle and the nozzle tightly; use the multimeter R×1 gear to measure whether the resistance at both ends of the motor is normal.

Abnormal noise or loud working noise

Causes The rotor of the motor touches the stator; the motor bearing is damaged; the deformation of the impeller collides with the casing; the vacuum cleaner sucks Granular hard objects; air ducts are severely blocked.

Disassemble the motor or impeller cover, check and correct it; shut down the machine in time and remove foreign objects; disassemble the muffler for maintenance.

Overheating at work

Cause ventilation path obstruction; local short circuit in motor.

Dispose of cleaning dust and take out foreign objects; it is advisable to use it for no more than 30 to 45 minutes each time.
