Cost analysis of several commonly used heating methods
Comparison of advantages and disadvantages of various heating methods currently on the market
We all know that traditional coal-fired boilers have been gradually replaced by new heating methods due to environmental pollution, and the pattern of single-use coal-fired heat sources has changed. In addition to the central heating produced by urban heat and power co-production, other coal-fired boiler houses of different scales are faced with the task of converting coal to gas, and heating costs and heating costs will also rise. Although the central heating system with urban heating network, district heating network or large-scale centralized boiler room as the heat source is still the main body of urban residential heating. However, household heat metering in my country has entered the stage of gradual implementation from the pilot stage.
In recent years, many new residential areas in our country have adopted some new heating facilities. The comparison and analysis of these heating methods are carried out. Generally, there are the following types:
1. Household central air conditioning system
Type: There are two types: “air-cooled” and “water-cooled”.
Advantages: high grade, good appearance and high comfort. “Air-cooled” with fresh air system is more comfortable. When buying a house, the central air-conditioning system is mostly given away by the developer for free.
Disadvantages: high cost, each unit is worth about tens of thousands of yuan, the cost of paving per square meter is as high as about 500 yuan, and the operating cost is high (mostly electricity costs), mostly used in hotels and high-end apartments, not suitable for Most common households use it.
2. Floor radiant heating
Type: It can be composed of various types of household gas heating furnaces, municipal heating pipe networks, and residential boiler rooms, etc. way to provide a heat source as an “alternative radiator” buried under the floor.
Advantages: The ground temperature is uniform, the room temperature gradually decreases from bottom to top, the comfort is high, it is very clean, and it can save more than 20% energy than most heating methods; it can increase the indoor space by 2% to 3% Use area, easy to decorate and place furniture; adjust temperature at will.
Disadvantages: inconvenient for secondary decoration; troublesome maintenance, high-tech environmental protection pipes with good pressure resistance, temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and thermal stability must be selected; it has an impact on the layer height, and the paving pipeline needs to occupy about 8 centimeters of space; carpets on the floor will affect the heating effect; over time, the furniture may be deformed.
3. Electric film heating system
Type: Most of them are ceiling type, and a few are laid in the wall or even under the floor.
Advantages: less one-time investment and long service life. It is more energy-saving to use in energy-saving houses with strong sealing, thermal insulation and thermal insulation, and the operating cost should be between coal and gas. The temperature of each room can be adjusted by itself. Although controversial, the adoption of electric heating is definitely the trend.
Disadvantages: Higher requirements for energy-saving performance of residences. It is not allowed to drill holes and nails in the ceiling, so that the residents are restricted when decorating.
4. Independent gas (or electric) heating furnaces
Types: natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, gas, and electricity are used as energy sources. Types of household heating stoves.
Advantages: You can set the heating time by yourself and measure by household. When there is no one at home, you only need to keep the low temperature operation (antifreeze effect) of about 4 degrees. Some brands can also provide domestic hot water at the same time. It is more advanced, energy-saving and safe than traditional heating, and can be installed on the wall and in the corner of the room.
Disadvantages: There are hidden dangers such as safety and pollution (except electric heating). It is said that high-rise residential buildings in urban areas have been controlled for large-scale use, and low-density residential use in suburbs is more suitable.
5. Household electric boilers
Type: divided into different imported brands.
Advantages: Small footprint, simple installation, convenient operation, and can provide domestic hot water while heating. High comfort, suitable for low-density residences and villas with larger areas. The most advanced part is that it has a variety of time periods and different temperature control preset functions.
Disadvantages: The initial investment is large and the operating cost is high. This product is not suitable for heating with low-valley electricity storage to achieve the most energy-saving effect.
6. New energy storage electric heater
Type: It is the latest type of electric heating furnace.
Benefits: Clean, energy efficient, and money-saving. It automatically turns on at 11 o’clock in the evening, and stores heat while dissipating heat. The power is automatically turned off at 7 o’clock the next day, and begins to release the heat stored at night, without power consumption during the day.
Disadvantages: It is suitable for rooms with small area, and its product quality and technology need to be further tested.
7. Digital module combined gas roof boiler
Digital module combined gas roof boiler is a high-tech product introduced from abroad in recent years. However, this product still has hidden safety hazards and environmental pollution problems, as well as the softening of heating water and the descaling of boilers and pipes. It is now prohibited to install it on the top floor of buildings.
8. Water source heat pump air-conditioning system
A water source heat pump air-conditioning system must be set up with underground compensation return water equipment and a centralized circulating water system. It will involve complex factors such as water resources and environmental protection, and it will be difficult to implement. In water-deficient areas, the use of such equipment is prohibited.
