As the second legs of the elderly and disabled friends, “electric wheelchairs” are particularly important. Then the service life, safety performance and functional characteristics of the electric wheelchair are very important. The electric wheelchair is driven by the battery power generation, so the battery is a very important part of the electric wheelchair. How should the battery be charged normally? How to make the service life of the wheelchair longer depends on how to care and use it with everyone.
Battery charging method
1. The purchased new wheelchair may have insufficient battery power due to long-distance transportation, so please charge it before use .
2. Check whether the rated input value of charging is consistent with the power supply voltage.
3. The battery can be charged directly in the car, but the power switch must be turned off, or it can be removed and taken to a suitable place such as indoors for charging.
4. Please connect the output port plug of the charging appliance to the charging jack of the battery properly, and then connect the plug of the charger to the 220V AC power supply. Be careful not to mistake the positive and negative sockets.
5. At this time, the red light of the power supply and charging indicator on the charger will light up, indicating that the power supply is connected.
6. It takes about 5-10 hours for a single charge. When the charging indicator turns from red to green, it means the battery is fully charged. If time permits, it is best to continue charging for 1- 1.5 hours or so to make the battery get more power. But do not continue charging for more than 12 hours, otherwise it will easily cause deformation and damage to the battery.
7. After charging, you should unplug the AC power plug first, and then unplug the plug connected to the battery.
8. It is forbidden to connect the charger to the AC power supply for a long time without charging.
9. Do battery maintenance every one to two weeks, that is, after the green light of the charger is on, continue to charge for 1-1.5 hours to prolong the service life of the battery.
10. Please use the special charger provided with the vehicle, and do not use other chargers to charge the electric wheelchair.
11. When charging, it should be carried out in a ventilated and dry place, and the charger and battery should not be covered with anything.
