1. WhyTV connectionwifi often showslogin failed?
1. Please confirm whether the wireless network card matches the TV (test method: whether you can see the wireless network settings in the network setting interface);
2. Wireless network The signal strength is too low (when the wireless network strength you are using is less than 35%, our machine can detect the network, but it cannot be successfully connected. In order to ensure the normal use of the wireless network, the signal strength is required to be stable above 70% or
3. When there is a wireless connection, the signal can be searched, but the connection fails, you need to check whether the encryption type, WEP length, and WEP mode are set correctly. The length of WEP recognized by IPTV is 64 bits, the mode is ASCII characters, and the key consists of 5 characters. If the WPA encryption type is used, the key consists of 8 characters.
If the router encryption setting is inconsistent with the TV, the TV cannot recognize it. The wireless encryption method that our TV can recognize the router is:
(1) WEP encryption method is adopted, and the settings are as follows : Select Open for authentication mode, 64Bit for WEP encryption, ASCII for key mode, any one key can be set, and 5 digits for the password.
(2) WPA encryption method is adopted, and the settings are as follows: select TKIP for the password type, PSK for PSK/EAP, and 8 bits for the password. (Note: It is recommended to use numbers 0-9 for the password to be easily identified by TV)
Second, the solution to the failure of Internet TV login
The first method: modify set-top boxnetwork mode settings
It is possible after excluding the problem of the network itself The network mode of the set-top box is set incorrectly, and its default mode is PPPOE.
1. Enter the main menu and click the setting icon.
2. The system setting interface appears, select the icon of Ethernet setting. Check the box on the right side of the Ethernet row in the screen that appears, wait for a while, and then select the Ethernet settings, there are two types of automatic and static IP. If you are connecting to a network cable without a fixed IP, click Obtain an IP address automatically.
Second method: CheckRouter settings
Step 1: Open the browser of the computer connected to the current wireless router router, enter 192.168.1.1 in the address bar (some routers are 192.168.0.1, check the bottom label of the router to find out), log in to the web configuration interface of the current router, the user name and password are both admin by default.
Step 2: Under the router’s network settings, first find the router’s WAN port settings option. Getting the “type” right here is the crux of the matter. There are two commonly used types: PPPoE and DHCP. Choose this according to your situation. If it is a home ADSL dial-up Internet access, choose PPPoE; if it is a residential broadband or a hotel with a direct network interface available, choose DHCP
Step 3: If it is DHCP, there is no need to do other things settings, the router will automatically obtain the corresponding network settings. If you choose PPPoE, you need to fill in the correct user name and password. These are provided by network service providers, such as China Telecom. If you forget your password, you can call 10,000 for manual consultation.
Step 4: Next, check the LAN port settings of the router. The settings of different brands are actually similar. The most important thing is to enable the DHCP function, so as to ensure that the router can assign an IP address to the device when it is connected to the LAN port or connected to the wifi. The IP addresses are in the same network segment, such as 192.168.1.X.
Step 5: Finally, check your router’s security settings. Check whether some security policies restricting MAC or IP address connections are enabled, or the corresponding speed limiting policies. If yes, turn them off, otherwise only devices with specific MAC or IP addresses can connect.
The third solution: change the router channel
1. First, enter the set-top box setting page through the TV terminal to check whether the name of the connected router is that of your own router. name.
2. Log in to the router’s operation interface through the computer, and enter the IP address in the browser address bar: 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 to log in to the router’s settings page (Note: different brands of routers The login IP address is not necessarily the same. You can check the IP address of the bottom shell of the router for details. Most of the IPs are generally 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1).
3. Enter the router settings page—-enter wireless settings—wireless basic settings—change the channel to 11 or 1.
4. Then save the router and restart the router, then go to the TV and enter the wireless settings page of the set-top box to disconnect the network and set up the connection again.
