What are the safety precautions for water operations
1. Water operators must wear safety helmets, life jackets, safety belt
s, and non-slip shoes.
2. Strictly implement safety technical measures for water operations, and construction shall not be carried out without implementation. Sufficient life-saving equipment (life jackets, life buoys, life ropes, etc.) should be prepared and properly placed on the operation platform.
3. Safety signs, tools, instruments, electrical facilities and various equipment in high altitude and water operations must be checked before construction to confirm that they are in good condition before they can be put into use.
4. Water operators must go through professional and technical training, be certified to work, and must undergo regular physical examinations.
5. The safety protection facilities for water operations must be checked frequently, and if defects and hidden dangers are found, they must be solved in time; when personal safety is endangered, the operation must be stopped.
6. All objects that may fall in the construction site should be removed or fixed in advance. The materials used on the water work platform should be stacked smoothly without hindering the passage and loading and unloading. The tools should be put into the tool bag at hand; the platform should be cleaned at any time during the operation; the dismantled objects, residual materials and waste should be cleaned and transported in time, and should not be arbitrarily disposed or discarded downwards. Throwing is prohibited for passing objects.
7. Reliable anti-skid, anti-cold and anti-freezing measures must be taken when operating on the water platform in rainy and snowy weather. All water, ice, frost and snow should be removed in time.
8. In case of severe weather such as strong winds above level 6, dense fog, etc., water operations are not allowed. Before and after blizzards and typhoons, the safety facilities for offshore operations should be inspected one by one. If any looseness, deformation, damage or falling off is found, they should be repaired and improved immediately.
9. When it is necessary to temporarily dismantle or change the safety protection facilities due to the operation, the person in charge of construction and safety must sign and agree, and take corresponding reliable measures to resume immediately after the operation.
10. Protective railings must be set around the water work platform. If it is difficult to set up protective railings, workers must wear safety belts.
11. Protective railings or stable covers must be installed at the top of the holes such as guard tubes and bored piles, and safety signs should be added in places with many people entering and leaving.
12. The structure of climbing equipment must be firm and reliable, the bottom of the ladder should be solid, and the upper end of the ladder should be fixed. Ladders should not sway when workers go up and down, and personnel should feel stable.
13. There should be a solid platform for water operations, and the edge protection should comply with regulations.
14. Set up night warning lights for obstacles on the water piers where the construction of the engineering vessel has been completed or is under construction. Construction ships are clearly marked. Lighting fixtures are equipped with shading facilities to prevent glare from interfering with the navigation of the ship. .
15. During the use of the bridge and platform, the parts that are de-soldered, have large structural deformation or have potential safety hazards need to be repaired and reinforced in time to ensure structural safety.
16. Construction workers should immediately deal with and report potential safety hazards during construction to ensure production safety.
