First, send fax manually:
It can be connected at the extension line A telephone, and then you can send faxes manually as normal.
1. Load the fax document with the word side up into the ADF input tray. The control panel LCD screen will prompt “document loaded”; load the fax original;
Note: If you need to send a multi-page fax, you can place the multi-page original in the ADF input tray, so that the When faxing, the all-in-one will automatically scan multiple pages of originals, and then send the relevant content. It is recommended that no more than 30 pages of paper be loaded.
2. Pick up the handset to hear a long dial tone, enter the fax number of the other party, and wait for the call to connect.
3. After the call is connected, there are generally two situations as follows:
Automatic fax reception: If you hear a harsh fax signal, it means that the other party’s fax machine is set to automatically Receive faxes. Press the “Fax” button directly to start sending the fax, and the LCD screen of the control panel prompts “Save Fax Page 1” → “Dialing…” → “Connect” → “Send Page 1” → “Send Page 1, OK”, Returns to the “Ready” state after sending the fax.
Manually receive faxes: If someone answers the phone, you can tell the other party that you want to send a fax to him and have him give you a fax signal. After hearing the fax signal, directly press the “Fax” button to start sending the fax, and the LCD screen of the control panel prompts “Save Fax Page 1” → “Dialing…” → “Connect” → “Send Page 1” → “Send Page 1″ 1 page, OK”, and return to “Ready” status after sending the fax.
4. At this point, the manual sending of faxes is completed.
Second, send a fax automatically
Load the fax document with the text side up in the ADF input tray. The LCD screen of the control panel will prompt “document loaded”; load the fax original;

Enter the fax number or phonebook number of the other party, and then press the “Fax” button to start sending the fax, the control panel The LCD screen will prompt “Storing Fax Page 1” → “Dialing…” → “Connect” → “Send Page 1” → “Send Page 1, OK”, and return to “Ready” state after sending the fax.
2. At this time, the operation of automatically sending faxes is completed.
Three, receive faxes manually
You can connect a telephone at the extension line, and then you can receive faxes manually.
1. Before receiving faxes, please remove all paper from the automatic document feeder.
2. To set the answer mode for manual reception, please press ( ) on the control panel of the all-in-one machine, press “Fax Settings” → “Fax Receive Settings” → “Answer Mode” → “Manual”, and then Press the “OK” button, then the LCD screen of the control panel will display the “Manual” status.
3. When the all-in-one rings, pick up the handset.
Note: If you pick up the handset and hear only the special sound of “beep-beep–” and no one speaks, in most cases, the other party is sending you a fax in automatic mode.
4. Press the ( ) button on the control panel. Give the signal manually to receive the fax.
5. After a while, the all-in-one starts to receive faxes.
4. Receive faxes automatically
1. Before receiving faxes, please remove all paper from the automatic document feeder.
2. To set the automatic reception answering mode, the method: please press the ( ) button on the control panel of the all-in-one machine → “Fax Setting” → “Fax Receive Setting” → “Answer Mode” → “Automatic”, then Please press the “OK” button, then the LCD screen of the control panel will display the “Auto” status.
3. The all-in-one will automatically receive faxes after 2 rings (the default ring setting is 2).
NOTE: You can adjust the default number of rings in the control panel menu Fax Setup→Fax Receive Setup→Rings to Answer.
4. After waiting for a while, the all-in-one machine starts to receive faxes automatically.
